Playing poker online is a great way to improve your skills, meet new people, and have some fun. But if you’re new to online poker, it can be tough to know where to start. That’s why we’ve put together this quick guide on how to play Poker QQ online. Keep reading to learn everything you need to know about getting started with online poker.
Getting Started
The first thing you need to do is create an account at an online poker site. We recommend starting out at a free site like PokerStars or Full Tilt Poker. That way, you can get used to the software and the way the games work without risking any money. Once you’re comfortable playing, you can move on to a real money site like 888poker or PokerStars.
Once you have an account, the next step is to download the software and install it on your computer. Most sites will have a link that you can click to download the software. Once it’s installed, open up the software and log in using your username and password.
Now you’re ready to start playing! When you first log in, you’ll be taken to the lobby of the site. This is where all of the games are listed. You can browse through the different games and limits to find one that looks interesting. Once you’ve found a game you want to play, just click on it and then click “Sit Down” to join the table.
Playing the Game
The basic rules of poker are pretty simple: each player is dealt two cards face down, and then five community cards are dealt face up in the middle of the table. The aim of the game is to make the best five-card hand possible using any combination of your two cards and the five community cards.
Before each hand starts, each player will be asked to post a small blind and a big blind. The small blind is usually half of the big blind, and both blinds are typically pretty small compared to the size of the pot. The blinds rotate around the table after each hand so that everyone gets a chance to post them.
Once the blinds are posted, each player is dealt their two cards face down. The first round of betting then begins with the player who is sitting immediately to the left of the big blind. This player can either call the big blind, raise the big blind, or fold. Betting then continues around clockwise until all players have either called or folded their hand.
Once the initial round of betting is complete, the dealer will then burn a card and turn over three community cards face up. These community cards are available for all players still left in the hand to use to make their best five-card poker hand. Another round of betting ensues, starting with the player who is sitting to the left of the dealer.
If anyone has raised during this first round of betting, then all players still in the hand must either call or raise if they want to stay in for subsequent rounds of betting (more on this below). If everyone just calls, then we move on to.
